Sleepy time

Some of these pictures are from January, and the last from April. As you can see, I love watching my kiddos sleep! Checking on Robert before I go to bed is usually my comic relief for the day. You never know what position or place in the room he will be sleeping in. And Kate is such a light sleeper that I literally have to tiptoe in to steal a peek. Lately, she's been holding onto the bars of her crib when I check on her. It's one of my highlights during the day to see them sleeping peacefully.

Family Fun

These pictures are a bit old (from January), but I'll probably be doing a lot of that to catch up. We got a "make your own pizza" kit for Christmas and had pizza night. Robert loved making our crusts. He tried throwing it into the air a little (2nd pictue) didn't catch (3rd). But it sure was a great family activity. He really likes helping me cook, but when asked what he wants to be when he grows up, it's a "deep sea diver!"

Kate's first birthday

Our little Kate-a-roo turned one last Sunday (June 8th)! Time certainly flies even faster the second time. We had a yellow day with yellow cake, streamers, cookies, balloons, flowers, lemonade and friends. She really knew that it was a special day. She even started doing some new things on that day, like: making a one with her finger, saying "baby" and making a dog sound (in addition to her kitty cat, snake and fish sounds). She is such a delight, and we love getting to learn all about our little girly girl.

Summer Fun!

So, our family LOVES swimming! Robert asks all day long when the next time is that he will get to swim. We get to use our Y membership at another Y around town that has a wonderful pool area with lots of sprinklers and a large shallow end for kiddos. I have a feeling we will be going back to this place soon.

Sweet Berry Farms

Don't you just love Robert's grumpy face? He really didn't want to stop for a picture!

In April, Robert, Kate and I went to Sweet Berry Farm with our very best buds the Cook girls. All the kiddos had a blast searching for yummy strawberries, filling up their boxes, watching a goat climb up a tree and eating fresh strawberry popcicles! We will definitely have to make this a yearly event!
