Road trip

I believe this is from our trip to Matt's wedding. It gets tough when you don't remember to blog regularly. Kate loves Kaki!!!! We got to stay in Lake Whitney along the way!
We LOVE our friends Meggan and Trent. It was so much fun getting to hang out with them for the day. And since it was Friday (or any day ending in "day") we got to go with them to Joe T's for dinner. YUM!

We had to take a picture of the 3 of us with our blackberries. Meggan was the only one without one, so of course we jumped on the opportunity to have some fun with that. Meggs, your birthday is coming up in March. My fingers are crossed. Hold out for the pink one!

So October wasn't that long ago, right?

So, yes. I am officially the WORST blogger ever! I admit it! So I'm going to try to catch up from...October! These are a few pictures that our sweet friend Gina took for us. She loves photography as a hobby and wanted to practice taking pictures of kids. Boy did we give her some practice! Kate is not one for being still or held in one spot. I was impressed with what she got, especially considering how fun our kids were being! Thanks Gina! I think we got the best end of this deal!

September

Well, it's been quite a while since I've actually updated this thing. Life tends to get in the way of doing these fun little things sometimes.

But how could I forget to post my 5 year old's birthday?!!

These "Michael Phelps" pictures are too funny. My mom is super creative, and sent tons of dress-up attire for Robert to play in. He is a big fan of the pool king, Michael Phelps, so Grammy made a costume! Yes, that would be dyed underware, goggles & chocolate coins sewn on ribbons! Grammy wins for best costume design. Robert wins for best poses!

Kate had a great time rolling the golf balls into the holes.

Robert wanted a golf party for his birthday. We celebrated at Teravista where the kids got to putt and hit balls at the driving range. They had a blast.

These are Kate's "bracelets" aka plastic toy rings.

Deer Acres

The last day of our visit with cousins was full of fun at the Deer Acres Zoo. It was a cute little farm with lots of different animals that you could feed. The boys had fun throwing food to all the deer, goats, camels, chickens...

I think Jack's favorite part was definitely the Clifford.

Robert is such a big boy swinging!

Chuck E Cheese

Here are a few pictures from our time a Chuck E Cheese. You just never know how your day is going to turn out when you have 5 kiddos with you, but we did have fun.

Swimming...

I only have one picture from our swimming day. We went to the Alma Water Park which was really fun. There were several pools, a big water slide & a sprinkler section. It's hard to take a bunch of pictures when you're all wet. This day was crazy trying to keep 3 kiddos safe at the pool, Kate almost ate a bandaid but I scraped it out of her mouth before she swallowed it, and Robert barely escaped what could've been an unfortunate potty incident. So, lots to say, but not much to see.

The Nature Center

We visited the Nature Center one day, and this is a picture of the boys showing us their muscles. It was fun to experience the outdoors in the comfort of the indoor air conditioning. Robert's favorite part (and my least favorite) was the big rattlesnake. I did not take pictures of any of those...
There was a really cool indoor fishing pond. The stuffed fish had magnets in them, and the boys got to catch them with these fishing rods. Robert could've spent the whole day right here.
I liked this map of Arkansas.
Sic 'em bears!
